How the demo works
The carport is an example of product configuration: the customer puts a product together from sizes, design and extras, and the same choices are shown both as a 2D drawing and as a 3D model.
In the 2D drawing, width and depth are changed by dragging directly in the drawing, with the dimensions marked. The 3D model can be rotated and zoomed to show the product from every side.
The parts list and price are calculated from the choices and update with every change. Each item has its own price, so the total always matches the parts list. The request is sent with the choices, the parts list and the price.
